    Hmmm, I think this may be somewhat misleading. “50% of government websites use open source software” probably means they run Apache on their web server, just like most of the internet. If they start quoting figures like 50% of desktops run Open Office, that would impress me. Still, they do have a point where they say open standards are important. Too bad there are Microsoft “open standards”, and then there’s everyone else’s open standards.
    (Sorry, am feeling very cynical today!)
